Here’s a list of some of the most common questions we get, designed to help make your decision easier before reaching out to us. If you have any additional questions not covered here, feel free to get in touch - we're happy to help!

 

What areas do you serve?

We primarily offer dog walks and drop-in visits in the Brooklands and surrounding areas. For pet sitting services, we cover most of Milton Keynes. If you're unsure whether we can assist in your area, don't hesitate to reach out and we'll be happy to confirm!

What services do you offer?

We offer dog walking, pet sitting, overnight stays, and drop in visits. Our goal is to provide flexible care tailored to each pet's unique needs.

Can I meet you before booking a service?

Yes! We highly encourage an initial meet-and-greet so that you and your pet can get comfortable with us. This is also the perfect time to discuss your pet’s specific needs and expectations.

How do I book a service?

You can book a service by contacting us via our website or phone. We always recommend scheduling an initial meet-and-greet so that we can get to know you and your pets and understand your needs better.

What happens if I need to cancel a service?

We understand that plans can change. We request that you give us at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations. For same-day cancellations, we may charge a small fee. 

​

What should I provide for my pet’s care?

For walks, please provide a lead, a collar with a tag and/or a harness and any specific instructions regarding behavior, treats, or health. For pet sitting and overnight stays, we’ll need your pet’s food, bedding, and any medications or special items they might need.

How do you ensure the safety of my pet while they are under your care?

Your pet's safety is our top priority. We always follow your instructions carefully, monitor your pet's behavior during walks, and ensure they're in a secure environment. In addition, we carry a mobile phone with us for emergencies and are certified in Canine First Aid.​

Do you provide dog walking services every day?

Yes! We offer daily dog walks as well as occasional walks for your convenience. You can choose from one-time walks or regular walks on a schedule that works for you and your dog.

​

How long are your dog walks?

Our dog walks typically last anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour, depending on your pet's needs and preferences. Longer walks can be arranged upon request.

Will my dog be walked alone or in a group?

We offer a majority of solo dog walks only to ensure that your pet receives one-on-one attention and exercise.

​

However, if you have multiple dogs from the same household, we are happy to walk them together as a group. We’ll discuss your preferences during the meet and greet and make sure we find the best arrangement for your pets. If you have more than 3 dogs then I will divide the booked slot and walk the dogs in pairs.

Do you take care of pets other than dogs?

Yes! While we specialise in dog walking and pet sitting, we are also happy to care for cats, rabbits, and other small mammals. If you have a different type of pet, just let us know, and we will ensure they receive the best care possible. Whether it’s feeding, playtime, or providing companionship, we’ll tailor the service to suit their needs.

Do you offer drop-in services for other pets?

Yes, we provide drop-in services for pets other than dogs, such as cats, rabbits, and small mammals. These visits are great for feeding, litter box cleaning, and simply spending time with your pet to ensure they are comfortable while you're away. Drop-in services can be scheduled for any time of day, and we’ll ensure that your pets receive the attention and care they need.

Do you offer overnight stays?

Yes, we offer overnight stays in the comfort of your pet's own home. This helps your pet feel more relaxed while you're away, and we provide lots of attention, cuddles, and regular check-ins.

How do you handle multiple pets?

We’re happy to care for multiple pets at the same time! Whether you have several dogs or a combination of pets, we’ll tailor our care to ensure that all of them are comfortable and well taken care of.

Do you care for pets with special needs?

Yes, we are experienced in caring for pets with special needs, including administering medication or assisting with mobility. We’ll work closely with you to ensure that we meet your pet’s specific requirements.

Can you provide updates while I'm away?

We absolutely can! We offer daily updates via text, photos, or videos so you can rest assured that your pet is doing well in our care.

Do you charge extra on bank holidays?

We do not charge extra for services on most bank holidays. However, we do have additional charges on the following holidays: Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day. Please get in touch with us for specific pricing details during these times.

Are you insured and DBS checked?

Yes, we are insured with Pet Plan Sanctuary, and Katie is certified in Canine First Aid. We also have a DBS check for your peace of mind. We are also licensed dog walkers with the Parks Trust. Documents are available to look at during the meet & greet consultation.

How do you handle my personal data? Are you compliant with GDPR?

We take your privacy and data protection seriously. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) and fully compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This means we only collect the necessary information to provide our services, and we ensure it is stored securely and used responsibly.
